As Director of Capital Markets, Blake oversees capital formation and drives strategic growth for The Town Lake Company. With a career rooted in finance and real estate, he brings extensive experience spanning corporate banking, development, and equity investments.

Blake began his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, managing corporate banking for media and telecom clients. Seeking to make a more tangible impact, he transitioned to real estate development with JPI, one of the nation’s largest multifamily developers, where he gained expertise in underwriting, capital planning, and asset management. He later joined CrowdStreet as a Director, sourcing LP equity investments and cultivating relationships with leading sponsors nationwide. During his time at CrowdStreet, Blake worked on a diverse portfolio of multifamily, industrial, office, and hospitality assets and first connected with Rob Gandy, whose creative vision ultimately inspired him to join TLC.

Now based in Austin, Blake contributes to the company’s growth by forging strong partnerships and expanding capital relationships. He holds a B.A. in Finance from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Rice University. An active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA), and the Texas Business Hall of Fame Alumni Association.
